ATX Malaysia updates

The recent examiner meeting was insightful for ATX Malaysia with the following issues being highlighted
1. GST will be examinable until September 2019
2. The 4 compulsory question seems to be better liked
3. The examiner highlighted that most students had jumped into the answer on trigger words rather than read the whole question
4. The examiner also highlighted that most students had stereotyped views of tax treatment with assumptions that some exemptions are always good.

Overall the exam paper had tested most of the aspects that was available in the technical articles, obviously with some element of creativity.

At Jpro, we ensure that students preparing for the Malaysian ATX paper have a clear understanding of the tax knowledge and practice a wide variety of questions - close to 200 questions before going into the exam.

This preparation has yielded a pass rate that exceeds the world pass rate for ATX in June and September 2018.

If you are working and studying, we suggest that you take one paper for every 3 months cycle - this is the best you can manage.

If you are full time student, try taking 2 papers if you can cope with the preparation load.

Those planning to prepare for the March 2019 ACCA exams for ATX (Malaysia) can always opt to study with Jpro online or class room.
