It is back to that time that you all hate - exam week for ACCA papers.
The last meeting with the examiner highlighted the following issues about the students. The outcome from the meeting seems to agree with what an ancient ACCA lecturer.
According to Confucious FCCA -
1. Student really don't know what they don't know until it is asked and they still didn't know what was being asked, so they answer what they know
2. Student that read the question they had prepared for always answer what they prepared and not what was asked!
3. Student with strong memory has higher chance of passing compared to student with weak memory
4. Student with good tips sometimes repeat the paper without knowing why they failed in the first time
5. Student who is well prepared has better chance to pass compared to student who studied 25 questions only
Confucious also say that in some occasions the tips for a paper may be your last hope to pass the paper.
So to help Confucious out, I have compiled a list of possible items that could be coming out for the coming exam for September 2017 ACCA P6 (M).
1. Financing issue for company - debt / equity / leasing / hp OR Acquisition of business via share / asset purchase
2. Venture capital company, venture capital tax incentive, angel investor, venture capital management company
3. Pionner status, ITA, AIE, EIE, Group relief, Purchase of IP, Purchase of foreign company
4. RPGT - cover all, with emphasis on sub-leases, RPC, partial disposal and RPGT admin
